We supply hurling clubs with sliotars and training equipment. We also design stuff! We have just completed the design and development of the Hurlóg™ . The Hurlóg™ has been designed with the assistance of Enterprise Ireland. It has been designed as a first hurley for children. It is really light and a little soft and so it is easy to use and is also safe. The material looks like ash but is a hard wearing foam. It comes with a special big bouncy light ball. If you are looking to give a hurley as a gift - and expect the child to be able to play with it - then this is it. The hurlóg™ is being used in the kitchen :-), in schools and in nursery camps in GAA clubs. It is brilliant to get children using a hurley correctly. Please look at the tv advert which was made with the support of AIB on the homepage of http://www.hurlog.com. The hurlóg is available in three sizes - 16" (up to 2.5 years), 18" (2.5 to 4 years) and a size 20" (4 - 6 years). Feedback on the hurlóg™ has been fantastic. It can be bought in a box set - ready to be wrapped - or in bulk for schools/clubs (minimum of 20). We make and supply the CúChulainn sliotars. They are GAA tested and approved and are used by many of the top clubs in Cork, Tipperary, Limerick, Clare, Galway and Dublin. The Groovy Grip was developed and tested over an 18 month period. It has been available since February 2009 and is currently being used by a number of inter-county players. Word of mouth is helping to spread the good word about these. Goalkeepers in particular like them - and if we can keep goalkeepers happy then...... :-)
Our hurley bags are custom made for hurleys. They are really neat - but when fully extended (they have a second zip to double capacity) they will hold up to 15 size 35" hurleys and about 10 goalkeeper hurleys. We have a few more products in the pipeline which should be completed in 2012. Please link up with us on Facebook - our public page is per the following link and we have a private page which you can join - just request us as a friend - the link to the private page is on the public page.
